Employee Spotlight: Magen Ayers

Briefly describe your involvement in agriculture. I grew up on a family farm in Grayson County, Virginia, which had cows, horses, donkeys, goats and pigs.
Tell us about your family. My husband, Josh, and I have been married for 13 years. We have two children, Zoey (age 10) and Bensyn (age 5). 

Tell us about your pets. We have a Lab named Ace who is 7 years old, as well as a turtle named Tubby who is 17 years old. 
What is your favorite book or author? I have recently been reading Freida McFadden books, and I haven’t read one yet that I didn’t like. 
What is your favorite blog or podcast? I love a true crime podcast.
What is your favorite season? Fall is my favorite season because I love how the leaves change, the crisp air and all the pretty colors. I also love fall scents. 
What's at the top of your bucket list? Visiting Yellowstone National Park is at the top of my bucket list. 
What was your dream job as a child? My dream job as a child was to own an ice cream shop… because who doesn’t love ice cream?!
What is your favorite thing about Farm Credit? My favorite part of Farm Credit is the people I work with. It takes everyone to come together, work as a team and do their piece of the puzzle so our customer-owners’ dreams can come true.
What are your favorite weekend activities? On the weekends, I just enjoy relaxing and being with my family.
